About the Sport

We’re passionate about the transformative power of this sport and the profound benefits it offers—both on and off the mats.

While Jiu-Jitsu is an individual practice, we’re all in this together. Our community thrives on supporting one another, and we take pride in watching our students improve and achieve their goals.

We offer both Gi and No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

In Gi training, practitioners wear the traditional uniform (the Gi), which allows for grips and specific techniques.

No-Gi training, on the other hand, is done in athletic wear without the Gi, focusing more on speed, agility, and controlling your opponent without grips.

Both styles are highly effective, and learning both helps you become a well-rounded martial artist. Whether you prefer the technical grip work of Gi or the fast-paced flow of No-Gi, our classes provide the perfect environment to sharpen your skills.

  • No experience is necessary! Don’t worry about getting in shape before you start, our classes will help you become a fitter version of yourself.

  • Our program is structured with safety as a top priority. We emphasize skill-building, focus, discipline, and problem-solving while ensuring that all techniques are taught in a safe, controlled environment.

  • BJJ teaches you how to defend yourself by controlling and neutralizing opponents using leverage, positioning, and submissions. You'll learn how to handle opponents who are larger or stronger, making it a valuable tool for real-world self-defense situations

  • For Gi classes, we recommend wearing a Gi, which is available for purchase or rental at our gym. For No-Gi classes, wear comfortable athletic clothing such as a rash guard or a t-shirt and shorts. If you’re unsure, feel free to contact us, and we’ll help you prepare.

  • Absolutely! We offer a free trial class for all new students, so you can experience the gym, meet our instructors, and see if BJJ is right for you. Contact us to reserve your spot!

  • We recommend training 2-3 times a week to start, but it depends on your schedule and fitness goals. Our memberships include unlimited access to classes, so you can train as often as you like

  • Yes! BJJ is a full-body workout that improves strength, endurance, flexibility, and coordination. It's unique in overing aerobic, anaerobic, and resistance training simultaneously.
